Question for now or later: I've been using Google docs (to protect against data loss), is there a better cloud service to use? That makes data accessible outside of UF affiliation?

@Maggie - Welcome! UF maintains a membership to OneDrive, a Microsoft cloud service. You can customize the sharing permissions on individual documents: https://it.ufl.edu/services/gatorcloud-onedrive-uf

UF also maintains memberships to Google Docs for university business, and Dropbox.

Do others have great cloud services to recommend?

@Maria - this is a great topic and I don't have all info right now...we could do a COTA Research Series Event. A first answer is anyone at UF (faculty, staff, student) can deposit anything they'd like in most digital file tapes into the UF Institutional Repository: https://ufdc.ufl.edu/collections/ufir

@Maya - awesome. ORCID lets you assign the level of permissions of viewing for the entire profile, and for individual items
