I've done guided mindfulness meditation before. It's really the only kind I do. Headspace has been helpful even at the free level.

It seems there are some basics though to this type of meditation. If you want to do something unguided, what's the best way to go about it. Like a guideline to mindfulness?

I've had a prerecorded tape to listen to when I had a hard time going to sleep...seemed a lot like this...talking to each part of the body to relax and then finally fall asleep
question: the candle gazing seems to be challenging because you have to come up with questions that u really want to get an answer.although, sometimes i just want to be in the moment.... and keep it simple. Is there a general question that can keep me rooted? not too complex question...

for the candle gazing...
I'm finding to take some time in the morning right before I start work or at the end of the day when I "get home". Seems to help me separate my work and home day as well
I can't unmute my mic but I kept forgetting to do it altogether so I set the calendar reminder and took my 10 at 10 break to d it
I find that what I eat ( or rather not eat) helps. and also on an empty stomach helps my yoga...and I am guessing helpful in meditation
