Climate literacy, interesting!
Yes! Like that.
Here is a link to some of our past and on-ging work. https://www.globaleducationlab.org/projects-activities/
Here is the link for the EDEN network. https://eden.lsu.edu
Vaghis says, extension people are criticized- is it because they lack capacities to meet new demands from farmers or lacking in infrastructure, or both?
EDEN network is really very helpful, I quoted it in one of my blogs. https://www.aesanetwork.org/blog-91-natural-disasters-and-extension-advisory-services-eas-lessons-for-better-preparedness/
EDEN is about to launch a NEW website: extension disaster.net
Vagish, farmers are also looking for information beyond productivity enhancement which we have been doing since long. They now look for farm profitability, entrepreneurship, value chains on which most of the extensionists are lacking in capacities
Happy to know, EDEN is launching a NEW website: extension disaster.net
Let me try that link again: https://extensiondisaster.net/
Yes, the link works
Vagish- there are farmers at different levels- all have different mindsets. Some are very well aware about agricultural issues, while som emay be at very low levels of educatio nand awareness. Subsistemce farmers may be easy to handle compared to highly awre especailly due to multiple agencies and channels of information available to them
Thanks for the link especially for https://www.globaleducationlab.org/projects-activities/ , I hope there materials to know how agricultural sociopreneur deal with climate change...
Maybe Dr. Wang can explain "climate literacy" that she was talking about
gr8 to be here, to know more aboutJAEE
Thanks everyone - this was great! Jeff
