How do you decide which (and how many) additional disease sequalae to include in a cost-effectiveness analysis?
As a related question, particularly relevant in public health, and particularly relevant to treating chronic disease, but do you account for the added cost of care during added years of life?
And the worth of a life also should be measured in opportunity cost. If we only have $X to spend should we ever spend it on expensive lives, or use it to save more less expensive lives
