In meta-analyses, you can pull effect sizes from descriptive stats. It sounds like in fusion designs, you need the line by line dataset, right?

Does all of this take place within a causal inference/DAG framework? Or could you do these type of corrections on any statistical procedure?

In Causal Inference, a lot of times unmeasured variables can undermine the validity of your causal effect estimate. Can this be used to “import” the effects from other DAG/causal inference studies to incorporate an effect that you were not able to measure in your own causal inference study?
