What about other state that are not on the list? How do we help the employee with their taxes?
Honey Langford
29:10
I think the increase can be attributed to the system not flagging before you enter the person anymore. You have to create a UFID and then it shows "there may be a duplicate." The system used to flag that BEFORE you fully created one.
Melanie Hill
29:11
We used to get a warning that there is a possible duplicate when creating a new UFID. We no longer get that warning!
Melanie Hill
30:07
That search doesn't always work, which is why there have been so many duplicates.
Katie Davison (IFAS-HRDI)
30:10
I just get a notice that "1 result hidden by authorization restrictions" … with no UFID given
Katie Davison (IFAS-HRDI)
30:29
with no UFID given
Melanie Hill

Sometimes the incoming hire tells another area (Academics, etc) they do not have a uf id. So I try to let every hire know their UFIIDis life long, no matter what their affiliation is with UF :)
Tovah Lawrence
31:22
Who's the best person to contact if we are hiring someone who we see already has duplicate IDs?
Jessica Caicedo
31:57
Agreed, same. To avoid that I search partial names before creating a new UFID.
Holly Hanna
34:41
really nice, thank you!

35:07
Will employees get notified if they are not eligible for cash out due to a previous cash out?
Dana Smith
35:31
Thank you Belinda. Some new hires have no clue they have a UFID from years ago (possibly from applying for student admittance, etc.).
Keisha Reynolds
37:08
Thank you! Great tool.
Johanny Zabala
39:57
That's awesome!
Honey Langford

Does that include a GA appt + STAS hourly appt?
Honey Langford
40:26
so like .50 fTE GA and .25 FTE STAS
Vanessa Fayo
42:12
Does that include someone with two OPS appointments that equal at least .75
Sylvia Robertson
42:38
That is correct
Amber Wuertz
42:40
Yes, Vanessa
Vanessa Fayo
42:43
Thanks!
Bonnie Smith
42:45
If an EE starts towards the end of the month - and fill out the forms at the beginning of the following month is their coverage not retro to first of month? Thinking of health insurance specifically
Sylvia Robertson
44:07
Employee is eligible for benefits the 1st day of the month after they enroll
Jessica Caicedo
44:15
Great news on the PTO conversion, thank you.
Johanny Zabala
44:24
I may have missed it but, are they also going to be eligible for PTO?
Donna Dyer
48:37
For GA with .50 and .25, keep in mind this will impact tuition waivers
Jessica Caicedo
48:58
How would it work if an employee goes from TEAMS to OPS, would that change their benefits deductions?
Christina Perez
49:03
GA would then have QSC to elect state benefits when they lost Gatorcare
Jessica Caicedo
50:13
Thank you!
Sylvia Robertson
50:50
That is correct
