Hi- can departments still write a letter of petition to waive late fees if the department is at fault? We usually send them to either Philip or Petitions-as an email attachment.
@alcook: Yes, that is still appropriate to do.
Thank you- a)
So EEP will not cover drops/adds for special calendar courses (if that drop/add if after Regular Session's period)?
@Joe Uong: this varies on a case by case basis; eligibility depends on various things like: was the course listed on the student's EEP application (or State Agency waiver), is the section EEP eligible, was the student's EEP application submitted by the deadline published on the HR website, etc.
if all of these approvals were obtained prior to the deadline, schedule adjustments can result in ineligibility in certain cases, but as Rachel mentioned we are always available for questions on individual cases
So the registrar will not update a registration assigned time? The only option is for us to register them in their courses?
@ Grace Burmester Registration Start Times are assigned point in time; however, once the Honors Registration period has ended there is a nightly process scheduled to run to amend enrollment start times for students who have had transfer credit posted after the student’s start time was assigned.
If we drop a course during reg even if it is the only course the student is reg for we should be able to drop it.?
@alcook Yes, dropping a student's only course during advance registration is okay
Will also note, the system will not prevent staff from dropping a student's last course; do check a student's schedule before approving a drop request after drop/add
It was a bit confusing the way it was presented a bit ago--for dropping a course in summer A-since that would be adv reg. Thank you-
