We have luxury vinyl floors in our home as well and we chose it because we have pets.
Samantha Kennedy
02:04:03
I have ceramic tile and it's great when you have pets! So easy to clean. I don't think I'll ever have carpet again.
Ann Livingston
02:05:06
Any tips on keeping the ceramic tile grout clean?
vkrochmalny
02:07:02
Is wood more hypoallergenic than vinyl?
Samantha Kennedy
02:07:28
I mop weekly with bleach water and my grout stays pretty clean. Baking soda and vinegar does require more elbow grease!
Ann Livingston
02:07:40
Thank you for the grout tips.

02:07:48

02:24:57
How about if you want to replace a tile?
Samantha Kennedy
02:25:03
To reduce the risk of falling hazards, make sure the edges of throw rugs are secured to the floor and that non-skid backing is put beneath all rugs so they don't slip out from under you.
Ann Livingston
02:25:07
I have a ceramic tile that just has a hairline crack. Should I do anything about that?
Julie McMillian
02:25:25
and they discontinue also so you can't get the match later

Someone knocked on my door at 9:22pm the other night. When I turned on the porch light, they legged it. So lights do make a difference!

There is already a threat of inclement weather in the Gulf this weekend :(
Melanie

Sam, that is very scary. But thank goodness you have good lighting. It is amazing how fast lighting will send prowlers running.
Samantha Kennedy

The recommendation is enough water for 3 days, but I always encourage people to have enough for at least a week. AND DON'T FORGET WATER FOR PETS!
Melanie
02:45:30
We always prepare with more water than necessary. Who would have ever thought we would be without power or water for almost a month.
