Along these career prep lines - check out the Common Learning Goals session at 10:45 for college-wide initiatives in this area.

We have a Senior Seminar class in dance but I've never taught it so can't speak to what's included. @ Chelsea

30:17
I'd love to network with you all! We use the Graphic Artists Guild text. It's incredible for multiple career focuses in art.

30:22
I would love to be involved in more dialogue around freelancing — dancers and choreographers are very often working freelance!

30:23
To see what is going on with BECP there is a website that highlights the work from all units in the college of the arts. www.artsbecp.com

awesome thank you Scott! Bookmarked

In a general way (from Norton, Brindini, Ozuzu) about collaborating across campus. The Dean said “I like the idea of bringing students from outside COTA in to participate in our BECP opportunities”.

33:12
There is some interest in both brewing among donors for supporting BECP opportunities. So I am excited to see the results of the college wide conversation last year. We may be able to put together some networked opportunities that connect students across units and out into the institution and industries into opportunities of augment their degrees with experiences that cultivate their BECP savvy.

Stop telling people "no one will listen" or "you won't change their minds."The alternative is silence. Silence is complacency. If they don't change their minds, that's on them.If we shut up, their voices will be the ONLY ones we hear.Stop helping them silence dissent.
