If you are writing a review, it will help us if you can be as specific as possible in the changes you want to see. This helps us assess whether we can approve those changes or if it needs to go back to you again.

Does AAD has an impact factor?

The publishing fee is $295 for an article. Editors do not receive salaries. We have a Board to provide oversight.

This has been very informative. I didn’t share this with grad students and faculty who I think will be interested. I see you’re recording. Will you share the recording after this session?

The articles are published on a rolling basis throughout the year as soon as they are ready.

There is not a newsletter, but I've been thinking we need to start up a social media account to help make people aware of new publications.

What about the Impact factor for the journal?

This is a terrific initiative and I recognise the time invested by the editors in the process. The 4 weeks time frame mentioned by Amy - is this when there are no major revisions?

how will you promote attention, impact of this publication?

AAD is too new to have an impact factor but Grady has been in correspondence with Scopus and we have a set of criteria we are working to achieve to be indexed with them.

What is the scope of the journal?

The four week time frame is realistic for articles needing moderate revisions. Major revisions could take slightly longer, but it really depends on how fast the author(s) resubmit their manuscript.

Do you have any plan to include scholars from other countries or regions as Associate Editors

would you say the journal is university based or association based? in other words who is the publisher?

We are a registered nonprofit organization, so we are self-pubished

Any fear of the journal being listed as predatory?

Between Grady, Jimmy, and myself, we have experience serving as editors on the Journal of International Agricultural and Extension, Journal of Agricultural Education, and Journal of Human Sciences and Extension. We've taken that experience and used it to design AAD. Dr. Mulder from the Journal of Agricultural and Extension Education was also kind enough to provide guidance as we designed AAD.
