I have a question about a proposal by me on individual e-resource records to be discussed by CAM. I had a proposal for optional separate e-resource and batchloading databases that each library would use

I heard that CAM approved it already. But in any case, it wasn't about individual records, but individual databases

Amendment to July 2nd minutes--how does this sound? "Susan suggested that Kim’s proposal to have individual e-resource databases in Aleph will be discussed by CAM this month, and if that is approved, that would solve the issue with the Alexander Street records. Moving forward, we would need to rewrite that section of the guidelines. Perhaps for now we should just give a brief instruction about what to do in the case a record is too long for editing. The group agreed, and voted to support Daniel’s suggestion that a duplicate record be used to resolve record length issues."
