Adam G Dale
Assistant Professor, Ph.D. @UF/IFAS Entomology and Nematology
Adam is an Assistant Professor and State Extension Specialist of Turfgrass and Ornamental Plant Entomology with the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. In this role, Adam conducts research on the ecology and management of insects and plants in urban landscapes and other turf and ornamental systems. The overarching goal of his programs at UF is to develop more sustainable strategies for creating and managing urban landscapes and training people to implement those strategies. He also translates the results of his research and that of others into application and formats to communicate to turf and ornamental industry professionals and the public. Adam received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from North Carolina State University and began his position at the University of Florida in 2016. When not working, he enjoys being outdoors, gardening, photography, fishing, and woodworking.
