Dr. LaMondia will discuss (i) how MaaS is currently being utilized in rural communities as well as opportunities for MaaS to be utilized to support existing travel patterns through comparisons to urban MaaS use, and (ii) the regional, trip, and sociodemographic factors influencing current and future MaaS activity in rural areas.
Dr. Jin will discuss the effect of various socioeconomic and demographic attributes and personal attitudinal factors on the ridesourcing adoption decisions of older adults.
Dr. Bardaka will present on the spatiotemporal differences in the travel characteristics of low-income carless households, low-income car-owning households, and higher-income households using data from the last three National Household Travel Surveys.
