Sept 2022 to August 2023, we are hosting the Florida First Detector First Fridays webinar series on the First Friday of the month from noon to 1pm. This webinar will focus on invasive pests and pathogens on oak that are a concern to Florida like oak wilt, sudden oak death, oak splendor beetle, and oak processionary moth.
We will open the webinar about 15 minutes prior to the start of the class.
Continuing education units (CEUs) are also available for attendance for individuals that already have obtained their pesticide applicator license. To receive CEU credit, you must attend the full duration of the class and participate. Attendance will be verified. For CEU credit, each person needs to attend using their own electronic device. This webinar has been approved for 1 CEU in the following FDACS Pesticide CEUs categories: Aquatic, ag row crop, ag tree crop, forest pest control, limited commercial landscape maintenance, limited lawn and ornamental, natural areas weed management, ornamental and turf, pest control operator (PCO) lawn and ornamental, private ag, right of way, or demonstration and research.
